Interview with Philip Pullman

From the British journal, and Economist companion, "Intelligent Life", a lengthy interview with Philip Pullman, whose His Dark Materials trilogy I highly recommend. Best line: "He is the most successful writer since Roald Dahl to have worked in a shed."

I love the quote you picked out! When I first finished His Dark Materials, I immediately picked up the Northern Lights and started again. One of my favourite sets of books. Did you see The Golden Compass at the cinema?

I actually haven't seen the movie yet. I'm always so skeptical when they make a book that's this good into a movie.
